Welcome to my final project web page for MIT subject 9.29 Introduction to Computational Neuroscience.

This project is a part of the group project which deals with neural networks. This part is not directly related to networks, rather I try to make a mathematical model of a complicated neuron which will later replace the primitive integrate-and-fire neuron in our model.

The main aim of the project was manipulating the parameters of a given auditory neuron model (*) so that it can have a new spiking regime. In this regime, neuron fires a finite number of times and than has a constant membrane potential, in response to a step current input.

My project supervisor was Dezhe Jin. I want to thank him for the ideas and feedback he supplied.
